Bakeries and Sweet Shops

QR code menu for bakeries and sweet shops

A sweet shop has sixty items behind glass, priced by the kilo, and the price of ghee moves in the middle of the year. A printed list is wrong within weeks, and a customer who cannot see the item reads the price of the one next to it.

What bakeries and sweet shops actually run into

Prices move and the list does not

Ghee, dry fruit, sugar — a rate change is a reprint, or a pen correction nobody trusts. Edit the price once and every phone that opens the menu shows the new one. The code on the counter never changes.

Everything is sold by weight

Give an item its weights as options — 250 g, 500 g, 1 kg — each with its own price, and the menu shows "from" the smallest. The customer picks the one they mean instead of doing the arithmetic at the counter.

The range changes with the festival

Rakhi boxes, Diwali mithai, a winter-only halwa. Hide what is out of season and bring it back next year with its photograph and price intact. Nothing is retyped.

What is fresh runs out by afternoon

The first tray of the day is the one customers ask for. One tap greys out what has finished, so the counter stops answering "is it there?" all afternoon.

Setting it up

  1. One QR at the counter and one by the billing desk, where people wait.
  2. Categories the way customers ask for them: Mithai, Farsan, Cakes, Cookies.
  3. Photograph the festival range first; it is what people stop to look at.

Most places are running within half an hour. The free trial has everything switched on, so you can put it through one real service before deciding anything.

What it costs

Every plan carries the whole menu — unlimited dishes, photographs, Gujarati and Hindi. What changes higher up is what diners can do: call a waiter, see a dish in 3D and AR, order from the table. Every restaurant starts on a free trial with everything switched on, so you can see the difference before you choose.

Questions restaurant owners ask

Can an item have a price for 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg?

Yes. Add each weight as an option with its own price. The menu shows the lowest as "from", and the customer picks the one they want.

Is this an online store with delivery?

No. It is a menu that opens from a QR code or a link, with optional ordering for the counter. It does not take delivery addresses or arrange couriers. People see what you sell and what it costs, and order at the shop.

Can the same menu go on WhatsApp and Instagram?

It is one link, and the QR code simply encodes it. Send it to a regular who asks the Diwali rate, put it in your Google listing, or in your Instagram bio.

Do my customers need to download an app?

No. The menu opens in whatever browser is already on their phone. They point the camera at the QR code on the table, the menu loads, and that is the whole thing — nothing to install, nothing to sign in to.

Can the menu be in Gujarati?

Yes. Every dish can carry a Gujarati and a Hindi name, description and price alongside the English one, and diners read whichever they choose. You fill in what you want translated; anything left blank falls back to English.

What happens when I change a price?

It changes on every table at once. There is no reprinting and no sticker over the old price — you edit the item in your dashboard and the next diner to scan sees the new one.
