The thali changes and the card cannot
Today's vegetables, today's sweet, today's rotla. Keep the thali as one item and edit what is in it in the afternoon — or hide what is missing and bring it back tomorrow. Either way nothing is reprinted and the menu is never lying.
"Unlimited" does not sell the plate
Photographs of what actually comes — the katoris, the rotla, the chaas — do more than the word ever has. This is the single biggest reason a thali house should have pictures on its menu.
Visitors cannot read the names
A guest from outside the state cannot tell a rotla from a thepla, and will order the one dish they recognise. Each dish can carry its Gujarati, Hindi and English name at once, with the diner choosing — so nobody has to guess and you do not print three cards.
Large tables order together
Eight people and one card being passed around is eight people waiting. Everyone opens the same menu on their own phone, and if you turn ordering on, the order reaches the kitchen with the table number attached.
Setting it up
- One QR per table — each knows its own number, so an order arrives labelled.
- Photograph the thali first, then the specials. The thali is what people came for.
- Put the Gujarati names on your ten best-known dishes before anything else.

What it costs
Every plan carries the whole menu — unlimited dishes, photographs, Gujarati and Hindi. What changes higher up is what diners can do: call a waiter, see a dish in 3D and AR, order from the table. Every restaurant starts on a free trial with everything switched on, so you can see the difference before you choose.
Prices are per restaurant, per month. There is no charge per order and no commission on what you sell.
Questions restaurant owners ask
Our thali changes every day. Do we rebuild the menu each morning?
No. Keep the thali as one item and edit what is inside it, or use the out-of-stock switch for today's missing dishes. It takes a minute, and nothing gets reprinted.
Can the menu be in Gujarati?
Yes — Gujarati, Hindi and English on the same menu, chosen by the diner on their own phone. Anything you leave untranslated falls back to English, so you can start with your best-known dishes.
We are busiest at lunch. Will orders from the table help or get in the way?
It removes the walk. Diners send the order from their own table and it lands on your kitchen screen with the table number, so nobody spends the rush carrying a notepad across a full room. You can also leave ordering off and use it as a menu only.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. The menu opens in whatever browser is already on their phone. They point the camera at the QR code on the table, the menu loads, and that is the whole thing — nothing to install, nothing to sign in to.
Can the menu be in Gujarati?
Yes. Every dish can carry a Gujarati and a Hindi name, description and price alongside the English one, and diners read whichever they choose. You fill in what you want translated; anything left blank falls back to English.
What happens when I change a price?
It changes on every table at once. There is no reprinting and no sticker over the old price — you edit the item in your dashboard and the next diner to scan sees the new one.
