How to make a QR code menu, in three steps
- Add your dishes. Type each one with its section and price, or paste the whole menu at once from a Word file, a WhatsApp message or an Excel sheet.
- Check the preview. What you see on the phone above is what a customer sees after scanning. A line that became a heading by mistake just needs its price.
- Save and print. Save it to your account, add photos to the dishes that need them, and print one QR code per table. Change a price later and every table shows it at once — nothing is reprinted.

Is my menu saved or shared when I paste it?
No. It stays in your own browser and nobody else can see it. Nothing is sent to MenuDekho until you press Save and create your account.
Can I add photos, sizes and add-ons?
Yes, once you save. The generator reads dish names, prices and sections. Photos, sizes like half and full, add-ons, descriptions, and Gujarati and Hindi names are added inside your menu after that.
What format should my menu be in?
None, if you add dishes one by one — there is a box for the section, the dish and the price. To paste instead, use any list where each dish ends with its price, one dish per line — the way it is printed on your menu card. A line without a price becomes the heading for the dishes under it. A sheet copied from Excel works too if its first row names the columns: name, price, category.
Is a barcode menu or scanner menu the same thing?
Yes — they are other names for a QR code menu. A QR code is a square kind of barcode, and scanning it with a phone camera opens the menu in the browser.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They point the phone camera at the QR code on the table and the menu opens in their browser. Nothing to install and nothing to sign in to.
